Accessibility
Everyone should be able to create stylish text. Here is how Fontora is built to be usable by as many people as possible.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to keep improving. Accessibility is treated as a core feature, not an afterthought — it is built into the design, the components and the way the site ships.
What we do
- Keyboard support — every control is reachable and operable with the keyboard, with a skip-to-content link and a logical focus order.
- Visible focus — clear, consistent focus indicators so you always know where you are.
- Semantic HTML — real headings, lists, buttons, labels and landmarks that screen readers can understand.
- ARIA where it helps — live regions announce copy confirmations, and decorative elements are hidden from assistive tech.
- Reduced motion — if your system requests reduced motion, animations and the scrolling ticker are calmed or disabled.
- Colour and contrast — thoughtful contrast in both light and dark themes, and colour is never the only way to convey information.
- Responsive & zoom-friendly — the layout adapts to any screen and works with browser zoom and text resizing.
- Touch-friendly — large tap targets and a layout that adapts for phones and tablets.
Known considerations
Some decorative Unicode styles are dense by nature, which can be harder to read for certain previews. These are optional outputs you choose, and the interface text itself is always set in a clear, high-contrast font.
